A tractor-trailer crashed and overturned Friday morning along a New Jersey highway and was left dangling off an overpass.

The truck’s fuel tanks were torn open and debris from the shattered vehicle fell onto Church Street in Mount Laurel, a township in Burlington County just east of Philadelphia, NJ.com reported.

The driver, who was transporting mail, suffered an army injury and was hospitalized in stable condition.

The accident, which occurred at about 3 a.m., has backed up traffic near Route 73.
